All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars. A deposit of at least 50% is required at the time of booking. Cleaning on departure is included. Linen is NOT provided so you will need to bring your own sheets and towels. All beds are provided with covered doonas and summer weight blankets are also provided. Covid 19 precautions necessitate allowing a day between tenancies. If a Covid 19 outbreak necessitates cancellation a refund will be given, on a prorata basis.
LOCATION
Broulee, 20 kms south of Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast, is a 2 hour drive from Canberra and 4 hours from Sydney. The house is nestled in sand dunes and is short walking distance to 3 beaches two of which provide excellent walking and surfing and the other is a quiet bay. South Broulee is patrolled in the summer holidays. The quiet mouth of Candalagan Creek is popular for little ones. On a windy afternoon sailboarders have a great time on Broulee Bay. Broulee Surf School operates on Broulee Bay.
Facilities in Broulee include a convenience store, a takeaway, a chemist and real estate offices. There are a couple of cute little coffee shops and the popular Mossy Cafe on Mossy Point. The Tomakin Club at Tomakin has club meals, pokies and bowling. A good IGA is located at nearby Tomakin and further afield there several supermarkets and shopping at Moruya (12kms) and Batemans Bay (20kms).
Try The River in Moruya or Sandbar in Batehaven for a special dinner.
There are 3 golf courses in the area - Moruya (18 holes), Catalina (27 holes) and a Par 3, 9 hole course at Tomakin. Bowling clubs are in Moruya, Batemans Bay, Tomakin and Malua Bay.
Moruya has a popular Saturday morning market. Mogo has lots of interesting shopping and the Mogo Zoo is worth a visit as well as Birdland near Batehaven.
Boating can be enjoyed in various forms and at various sites in the district as well as lots of walks and hikes.
